What kind of files will I receive (what is a card kit)?
  1. Single card sheets are sent as a JPG file. You will need some type of photo processing software to view, open and print the file. This could be as simple as Windows Photo Viewer. If you are a more sophisticated user you may wish to resize the card sheet or manipulate it in some other way. Typically you would use an application such as PaintshopPro or Photoshop.
  2. Card KITS contain mutliple sheets. These are in a ZIP file. You will need some type of application to unzip files. Winzip is very popular but there are also free applications available. You will need to unzip the sheets in your card kit (to a new folder) before you will be able to view or print them.
  3. Single Parchment patterns are usually in PDF format. You will need Adobe PDF Reader to open, view and print these files. Adobe PDF Reader is free software at https://get.adobe.com/reader/.
  4. Parchment Packs are a ZIP file containing multiple PDF files. You will need some type of application to unzip files. Winzip is very popular but there are also free applications available. You will need to unzip the patterns in your pack (to a new folder) before you will be able to view or print them.
  5. Some card making tutorials are in PDF format. You will need Adobe PDF Reader to open, view and print these files. Adobe PDF Reader is free software.

Printing Card Kits
  1. I can't print/view the sheets in the kit.

You need to first unzip the kit into a New Folder. Then go to that folder and print or view each sheet.

  2. When I print a sheet, it doesn't cover the whole A4 page - it's very small.

You must print the sheets/kits at 150dpi. If you print at 200dpi or 300dpi, the images will be smaller than intended.

  3. How can I print an 8x8 card or 5x7 card etc at a smaller size to suit my cardstock?

You must print the sheets/kits at 150dpi. The following measures are approximate. Where the dimensions do not exactly fit the smaller size proportionately, I have given the percentage suitable to cater for the smallest edge of the card.
    To print a 8 inch x 8 inch card as 7x7Print sheets at 87%
    To print a 8 inch x 8 inch card as 6x6Print sheets at 75%
    To print a 7 inch x 7 inch card as 6x6Print sheets at 85%
    To print a 6 inch x 8 inch card as 5x7Print sheets at 83%
